or it might be an extractor or ejector problem. Sometimes you can get a "stove pipe" from "limp wristing the gun" as you fire it. but I would do that on a used gun anyway. If the problem of stove piping continues - I'd replace the recoil spring. failure to eject is probably an extractor problem.

Stove piping is probably not related to any mag issues - but take the mags apart and clean them as well / failure to feed might be a mag problem. at least take the gun apart and clean and lube everything. But in general, start eliminating some things.
